Description

Spartina pectinata, also known as prairie cord grass is a perennial grass native to Michigan.
Plant reaches 8 feet tall and thrives and blooms in warm weather.
It prefers full sun to partial shade, medium to wet soil and will grow in muck, clay, loam or sand.
