White Turtlehead, Chelone Glabra

Description

Chelone glabra, also known as white turtlehead is a perennial wildflower native to Michigan.
Plant reaches 5 feet tall and flowers from July to September with a cream blossom.
It prefers full sun, medium to wet soil and will grow in muck, clay or loam.

White turtlehead can be found in our Shoreline Garden Kit because it both stabilizes the soil and attracts native butterflies and pollinators.
